Hi, I’m Zao Ri (早日), an illustrator based in Taiwan.
My work spans books, magazines, branding, event visuals, and more. With soft, blended brushstrokes, I seek to create atmosphere and explore the dialogue between image and words.
The artist name 早日 consists of two Hanzi characters and evokes the rising sun and gentle morning light—simple yet full of hope. In Latin, illustratio means “to illuminate,” which reflects my wish for my art to bring light to things hidden in the shadows.
