Hi, I’m Zao Ri, an illustrator based in Taiwan. I’ve worked on books, magazines, key visuals, picture books, branding, packaging, and more. I enjoy blending the soft textures of water-based pigments into digital illustration, and I’m always exploring new possibilities in visual storytelling across different fields.
The name 早(Zao) 日 (Ri) comes from the gentle light of early morning. It also echoes the Latin word illustratio, which means “to illuminate.” I hope my work, like the morning sun, can softly shine light on what still lies in the shadows.
